Hayes-Davis and Jasikevicius have differing opinions on historic EuroLeague performance

Nigel Hayes-Davis beat the points record scored in a single EuroLeague game. In Fenerbahce’s 103-68 win over Alba Berlin, the American scored 50 points.

After the game, Hayes-Davis commented on the Performance saying that somehow he felt he would have a great game.

At the beginning of the season I had written in my diary that I wanted to break this record. Before the game I sent a message to my children telling them that I felt I could have a game like Dejounte Murray’s. I didn’t know I would score more than Larkin, but I knew I would take a lot of shots.

Fenerbahce coach, Sarunas Jasikevicius, joked about his player’s performance, “We should talk a little about the fact that he recorded 0 assists.”
