We already know that the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion & the Edge 50 Pro are launching soon, and these are mid-range phones from the brand. But there is also a flagship phone in this series that the brand is launching this year. The phone is named the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, and this is not the first time Motorola has used the “Ultra” moniker. The same was the case with the Razr 40 Ultra.

The official renders of the phone are now here, thanks to Android Headlines.

The official renders show the phone in three colors – Peach Fuzz, Black, and Sisal. The design from the front is identical to the other Edge 50 series phones, but from the rear, the phone looks slightly different. The reason is the third camera with a periscope lens. hence the square lens. The text on the camera module reveals that the periscope camera has a 72mm lens, equivalent to around 3x optical zoom. The camera module has a laser autofocus system as well.

As per the source, all three cameras on the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra have a 50MP sensor, making it one of the few phones with a triple 50MP camera setup. We won’t be surprised to see a 50MP sensor on the front too, since the Motorola Edge 50 Pro has it.

As per the source, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by the recently launched Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SOC. This chipset sits below the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance, but that should mean a lower price tag than the other Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered flagships in the market.

The rest of the specifications are unknown as of now, but we should get more details soon.
